Floorplans!

StreetEasy takes the “building view” one step further. On the right hand side of the building page look for the ‘available floorplans’ link. This collects all the available floorplans for a building and orders them by unit number for easy browsing.

Welcome to StreetEasy North Jersey

You’ve been asking for it, and here it is. We finally brought all the great features of StreetEasy to North Jersey including advanced search, new developments and open houses. We’re currently in beta, and we’ll be improving over the next few weeks, so we’d appreciate any feedback you have!

Get In Contact

StreetEasy has introduced a “Send a Message to This Agent” button on each listing so you can directly post a question to the listing agent. Finding out more about a particular property has never been easier, and you can suppress your contact detail if you’d like to remain anonymous.

New Way to Analyze a Listing!

StreetEasy Insiders: You can now assess the value of a property against like properties with just one click. Go to the orange “View Comparable Properties” button on the listing page and we will provide current properties for sale, properties in contract, and recent recorded sales in a customizable report for your review. We give you a great view into the pricing of properties so that you can be more informed when making offers.

Amenities Search

In our advanced search you can now chose from 14 amenities, including doorman, gym, outdoor space, and parking! StreetEasy has made searching for the perfect apartment even easier.

Amenities search is only available for sale listings, but we haven’t forgotten about our renters. We have recently been adding more no-fee listings, making your search easier as well.

New Development Directory

To date, the best way to keep up with what is happening in New York residential New Development has been ad clipping and visiting multiple “flash heavy” web sites. Collecting information was difficult and comparing projects even more of a challenge!

StreetEasy now offers a directory of New Developments. See all the buildings mapped out per neighborhood, track price reductions and increases, know about buildings before their sales offices open and discuss anything new development related with our community. We even present a straightforward table noting median price based on neighborhood and apartment type.

Street View!

Have you wanted to see what the building and neighborhood look like while looking at a listing on StreetEasy? If you haven’t heard of Google Street View, you will be floored with their photos of almost every corner of Manhattan. StreetEasy has recently added Street View to our listings.

Now you don’t have to imagine, but can actually see what the building and neighborhood look like. Right above the map where your listing shows up you will see a Street View button. This links to a view right outside your listing of interest. Get 360 views and walk through the neighborhood using this feature!

Open House Planner

Introducing the StreetEasy Open House Planner

You know that we have it all- now we’ve made it easier for you to find it and be the first to see it. Tell us what day you’d like to go out, describe the property you are interested in and we’ll give you a list of all the Open Houses for that day. In addition, you can collect properties that you discover while browsing StreetEasy and save them to the planner.

To top it all off, we have an organized print sheet tht you can reorder for your schedule and take with you as you visit each apartment. All lists are archived so you can retrieve last week’s search if need be. Get it, see it, save it.

Multiple lists

We recently added the ability to save everything to multiple lists. You can give each list its own name, as well as rename and delete them.

You can save buildings, listings, searches and discussions. We can also send email updates when there are interesting changes to the things which you have saved. Hopefully this will make it easier for those of you who save many things.

StreetEasy Insider

In response to your feedback, we’ve added recorded sales data for all condos and coops in NYC. Just like listings, this can be viewed within a building, or searched in many ways.

If you become an insider you can save your own searches of closing data including searches by party name (which is creepy but cool).

This is a great way to support StreetEasy, and the cost is just $10/month.

We’ve recently released StreetEasy Mobile, a lightweight version of our site, designed to work with smartphones, PDAs and similar mobile gadgets.

We’ve been working on the site layout for a while, trying to provide more information and make it easier to understand.

Rentals are here!

We’ve recently added rentals to StreetEasy (you probably already noticed that new tab at the top of the page ;-)

We’ve been adding these as quickly as possible. Let us know if you are a broker and you would like us to add your listings.
