As the head of her own advertising agency in South Africa, Sandy’s clients included Mercedes Benz and Coca Cola. She later developed a hugely successful South African National Creative Marketing and Management Company. In that capacity she directed marketing, sales and public relations functions, plus personally initiated sponsorship and endorsement deals with political power-brokers including Nelson Mandela and Government Ministers. She developed corporate sponsorship agreements for Magic Johnson and coordinated a major African NBA tour with celebrity athletes like Patrick Ewing.
