After moving to New York, she capitalized on these skills and experience to become a management consultant to financial services companies – helping them meet their strategic goals and improve financial and operating performance.

In addition to her love of business, Karen enjoys a lifelong passion for residential design – both landscape and interior. As a designer, she has transformed numerous interiors and gardens ranging from expansive suburban homes and landscapes to Manhattan penthouses and rooftop gardens.

She is a member of the Horticultural Society of New York, the Central Park Conservancy and the New York Botanical Garden. She also enjoys playing Mahjongg when time permits.
