Amy Lee, a quintessential New Yorker who thrives on the city’s energy, has lived in Manhattan most of her life, on the Upper East Side and in the SoHo, Gramercy and Sutton Place areas. Over the past several years, Amy has negotiated the sale and purchase of many of Manhattan’s most sought-after properties. Her sale of an Upper East Side condominium within just 30 minutes of its initial showing set a record price for the waterfront building.
Amy’s empathy and ability to carefully guide clients through the sale, purchase or lease of a home or investment property comes from her own real estate investment experience. She uses her knowledge as a cooperative owner to help clients navigate the strict purchasing requirements and evaluation measures for this large segment of the Manhattan market. She was born in Hong Kong, and her fluency in Cantonese is an additional asset to an international clientele.
A graduate of New York City’s renowned Fashion Institute of Technology with a Bachelor’s Degree in Art and Design, Amy uses her design expertise to stage each client’s home to optimally position it for selling. She is equally adept at discerning a home’s design assets and limitations to advise her buyers.
It was as a New York City restaurant owner that Amy first addressed the individualized needs of her clientele. She has also worked in the fashion industry, as both a buyer and manager of luxury clothing and fashion accessory shops on Fifth and Madison Avenues.
Active in community affairs, Amy volunteers with the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation. On a professional level, Amy is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York.
