The primary goal of the administrators, teachers, and parents of Intermediate School 49 is to improve the academic performance of all of our students. We are dedicated to restructuring the educational process to focus on assessment driven instruction, thereby insuring that all of our students succeed in achieving the academic goals and standards of our City and State. The entire school community will direct its energies to a higher level of learning. This atmosphere of cooperation will encourage students, parents, faculty, and staff to participate as partners in the ongoing process of improvement.
