PS 242’s mission is to grow to be the finest technologically enhanced elementary school in Harlem. We will provide a vigorous and challenging academic program that will instill a lifelong positive and progressive attitude towards learning, and bring out the talents of all of our community members including English Language Learners, Special Education and high-achieving students. Note: The data presented reflects the merging of two school communities (PS 242, The Gwendolyn Powell Brown Computer School, and the students of the former PS 144).
