The Mission of the Luis Munoz Marin Elementary School, P.S. 314, is to promote ethnic, cultural and linguistic pride in its diverse student population and create an environment that nurtures respect for the diversity. We are committed to providing all students with positive and equitable learning experiences that will enhance their self-esteem and development to their fullest potential. Students will work collaboratively using strategies that improve academic achievement and foster a love of learning to last a lifetime. This mission encourages the support of partnerships with parents, community agencies, educational organizations, cultural institutions and the private sector.
