At P.S. 48 it is our mission and goal to maintain high academic standards for our children, and to provide appropriate instruction that will help all children work to their potential. We realize that to do this, we must provide for the equally important social, emotional, physical and aesthetic needs of all our children. This must be done in a safe and orderly environment, while simultaneously providing the appropriate resources so that our children can achieve these high academic standards.
