The Bronx New School is an exceptional collaboration between Parents and District 10. Founded in 1988, the School has a welcoming and nurturing atmosphere that respects the children’s needs and understands that each child learns in a unique manner. This school of choice serves 240 students and is a close-knit community of parents, and staff who, based upon close observation of the students’ interests, have developed an interdisciplinary curriculum including standardized testing. Classes are grouped heterogeneously, which creates a strong sense of respect for this racially and economically diverse community.
