Discussion about 250 West 82nd Street #33
Is this floorplan accurate? is there really no master bathroom?
if that's true--and it certainly appears that way on the plan--that is outright hilarious at this price.
I think the sellers are still pegged to the price where they went to contract a year ago, when BHS had the listing. Looking at the new listing is like seeing Miss Havisham in her wedding dress.
I saw apt a year ago and it needed a lot of work, facing bway was noisy. Although I do remember the floors making even more noise. I heard the buyer failed the board and contract was at about 2.5M. That was a year ago. I think it should trade under 2M. The layout was also not great with tiny bedrooms in front of apt.
There were 3 apts on the market at the same time. 72 sold for over 3m, which was surprising to me. Both 21 & 33 are back on the market. Both apts need work, 33 needs more because of the numerous coats of paint over the plasterwork. Room size and lack of mbr is typical of older buildings like this.
Article from NYT, prices in 1995.
