why hasn't the price of this unit come down?

Well have a look at the full page for the building.
All seem to be "in contract" which means presold units were waiting for completion.
The only listed closing is the commercial unit at 150K. 150K!!!
That is an alarm bell for a sham closing to meet the contract requirements on a closing by a certain date.
Expect lots of lawsuits by those who want their deposits back in this falling market.

truthskr10 - guess you are right! Check out articles on TheRealDeal - at least half of units in contract have filed claims for their deposits back. Building is in serious trouble.

If the details in that article are true, it would seem that the AG would have to allow the buyers to rescind. And who wouldn't rescind? The prices here are going to fall like a stone.

apt23 - the details are true - the documents outlining the relationship with their buyer are readily available on ACRIS - Block 594, Lot 1901. Check for yourself.
