Benefits of becoming an "insider"?

Not a broker or in the RE biz, just a buyer wanting to torture myself by keeping an eye on what's going on so I can decide if we paid too much, bought too soon. Should I spend $10 a month for this privilege? Seems a bit steep.

seeing the selling prices without having to go through acris is worth the money.

It's peanuts for the convenience of not having to run to ACRIS for every little thing.
