Discussion about 245 10th Avenue in West Chelsea
What's going on with this development? I thought closings were supposed to happen earlier this year, but I just walked past and things certainly don't look move-in ready. There's even a shattered glass panel at street level.

I went to see it in the summer but no interiors were finished. I believe the story then was it would be done by January. The artist renderings are beautiful but they are just that, fantasy based.

The block is nothing short of awful however. The Lukoil gas station on your doorstep, the projects, the clubs.

But 24th St is nice with the galleries & old townhouses. Also its next to the Highline; that block will look a lot better in 5 years. I think there are worse neighborhoods.
