My lease is up in February, and I am going to start searching now for my next place. Currently in a 1325sq ft. 1bed in LIC for $2800/month. Would like to be in a 1300-1400 2bed in Midtown East. 14th street-34th street, anywhere from the east river to 3rd ave. Prefer doorman and gym, but not necessary. Prefer something newer/newish. What can I expect to pay for something meeting the above criteria? If the criteria are too vague, please let me know how I can make them more specific. Thanks!

MP - The area you're specifying (14-th-34th) is more Kips Bay-Gramercy-Murray Hill), not Midtown East - just to make sure you set your search parameters for the right area.
