I think that there's no cert of occupancy being issued because the building department doesn't consider the crawl spaces "windows" and therefore won't consider the bedrooms to be real bedrooms. Yet the apartments were marketed as having "bedrooms." The apartments will probably have to be re-categorized as giant studios or one bedrooms (rather than the two bedrooms that people thought they were getting). I just heard the samr thing about the tax problems. Projected closing now "next year."
no way. this place will never open. 1.5 foot crawl space IS NOT a window! Massive tax problems. Good luck.
