This ESueCho has spammed the board with literally the same post at least 10-15 times (I stopped counting).

Do folks like this think that if they post enough, their sheer will will make the market go up 10%?

And, it has crossed my mind that this is just LICC. Duplicate posts with just insults and no logic or facts *is* his trademark...

Wow, its worse than I thought... looks like his post made it onto at least 30-40 threads.

This guy is beginning to sound more and more like LICC by the minute...

ok, so ESUECHO is spamming, and what is the value of this discussion?

And hey, how come you didn't deny the claim?

So, the discussion has no value, but you are continuing it?
Interesting...

And, I already denied it.... it just got denied on one of the 40 threads he posted on. Wishful thinking, but, no, everyone who disagrees with LICC isn't the same person... (because that would be most of the country).

EDDIE, EDDIE, EDDIE, Go Eddie! Gooooo Eddie!

AMiklin, I think you mean

EDDIT, STEVE, EDDIE, Go Steve and Eddie! Goooo Eddie and Steve!

Who let my 11 year old niece on this board?

hehe

So you have Nieces but no daughter, is that because you are Stevejhx?

No, I have no daughter because I am Jesus Christ.

Seriously, are you this retarded? English not your first language?

Yes, I'm Korean

Sorry Eddie, I've been out all afternoon. I have no idea who ESueCho is. Nice conspiracy theory, but as usual, it is just another wrong theory and claim on your part.

I guess then LICComment has a fan club of Koreans.

He finally found someone that could make sense of his posts...

ritchi, what is your deal against Asians?

two negative posts against Asians on two boards, not a good trend.

(and no I'm not Asian, not that it matters)

holy crap people, land of the retards for sure, Eddie, ESueCho, ritchi

said ritchi:
"ritchi, what is your deal against Asians?"

Now the dude talks to himself...

relax, you are only feeding on it, makes you as bad. Just talk about real estate then maybe this will all be useful

I'd move on, if the putzes didn't keep following me around and responding to any of my posts (or hell, ANY posts) with the 3rd grade stuff...

Yes Eddie, we all know they are 3rd graders and you are a big boy in 4th grade.

Now go play with the 5th graders but try to avoid getting beat up.

you'd move on if they didn't follow you around, oookay. If you have a smart point to make, why are you worried about 3rd graders, shouldn't your point stand on its own?

Patterson, don't try to make sense with Eddie, he's too smart, all the rest of us are retards in 3rd grade, and obsessed with him which is leading to a decline in NYC real estate.

ritchi, my comments apply to you as well. stick to smart and insightful thoughts about real estate.

> why are you worried about 3rd graders, shouldn't your point stand on its own?

Who said I'm worried? PatterPutz, *you* are the one complaining...

And, hell, you're as immature as ritchi:

"holy crap people, land of the retards for sure"

So, you're the guy bragging how he's in 6th grade?

Jesus, man, stop the hypocrisy.

Very good Eddie, you've now played the ultimate in 3rd grade by making fun of my name.
Nowhere did I make fun of your name.
But you felt the need, while at the same time telling everyone about how you are so mature.

ps - I'm the one complaining? Some of us are just tired of sillyness whether it is from you or many of the others here. You are consistently complaining and insulting people. On this discussion topic you've called people hypocrites, putzes, retards, 3rd graders, 11 year olds, insulted Asians, and made fun of LICComment for no apparent reason based on his comments here.

> On this discussion topic you've called people hypocrites, putzes, retards, 3rd graders, 11 year olds,

And notice how those pretty much all came after your comment...
"holy crap people, land of the retards for sure"

The hypocrisy is all yours...

> and made fun of LICComment for no apparent reason based on his comments here.

And clearly you haven't spent much time on this board

> Very good Eddie, you've now played the ultimate in 3rd grade by making fun of my name.

Very good PP! You managed to pick that one up!

Not to mention... you got on a post about the spamming... THEN YOU COMPLAIN THAT THE POST IS ABOUT THE SPAMMING?

Wow, dude, reality check...

Eddie, shut up and get a life. No need to rebut this with an insult, I'll just assume it is coming.

:)
look what little me started?

I was also there the day that stevejhx had his mental breakdown about the boyfriends who didn't return his call.

Makes me wonder if

EddieWilson is actually stevejhx?

:)

Wow, more people think Eddie Wilson is a loser. Interesting . . .

Oh, no, the guy who couldn't afford Manhattan calling me a lose. Ouch, that hurts!

You know LICC is in good company when only folks who don't speak English follow his logic.

You go, LIC... if you all post every 5 minutes, I'm sure LIC won't decline in value! You are an investing genius!

> Eddie, shut up and get a life. No need to rebut this with an insult, I'll just assume it is coming.

No, dude, you pretty much managed to get yourself everything you deserve...

> I was also there the day that stevejhx had his mental breakdown about the boyfriends who didn't
> return his call.

So, ESueCho is a Korean Homophobe?

Eddie, you do remember your mental breakdown that day, right? :)

Sorry, no, never had a mental breakdown.

But I do have an ignore button.... there it goes!

EddieWilson and stevejhx are both very easily baited

and both need to respond to everything one by one

and both use the ignore button

hmmm

":)

tee hee hee

EddieWilson - why don't you just ignore ESueCho? True, she's spamming (most likely out of fear and paranoia of a falling market - fine), but it seems like this is something that the streeteasy moderators should address....

EsueCho-your comments are refreshingly hysterical.

> EddieWilson - why don't you just ignore ESueCho?

Absolutely, did that days ago...

> True, she's spamming (most likely out of fear and
> paranoia of a falling market - fine), but it seems like this is something that the streeteasy
> moderators should address....

I think you are right on there. Sarcasm seems to come right after denial and before anger on the 12 steps to recovering from a bubble buy..

What if ESueCho were just a white U.S. born male, even potentially a renter, who just liked to irritate EddieWilson and further expose certain of Eddie's insecurities?

What if ESueCho were merely someone else on this message board working under an alias, just as ESueCho postulates is the case for EddieWilson himself ... as she claims he is the "other" stevejhx?

hmm, what if indeed

Wow, LICC added yet another alias to the list...

I guess the bulls figure that if they post enough about ME, noone will notice the market crash.

KEEP POSTING! FASTER! THE MARKET WILL DOUBLE OVERNIGHT!

"What if ESueCho were just a white U.S. born male, even potentially a renter, who just liked to irritate EddieWilson and further expose certain of Eddie's insecurities?"

I am not ESueCho and I am not a renter, but that's pretty much exactly why I post. EW's posts and his reaction to criticism/disagreement from others are pure entertainment. But don't tell him that please.

EW, please don't put me on ignore!! Please!! I am learning so much from you!! I really am!!

> I am not a renter, but that's pretty much exactly why I post.

Yes, as Amity pointed out, its called trying to rationalize owning an asset at the worst possible time to own it. Welcome to the LIC club of bitterness...

Yep, that's me. Bitter as hell that I bought 2 apartments in Manhattan in November of 2001.

No, read more carefully.

Not bitter than you bought them (2001 was a good time), bitter than you didn't sell them when you had the chance in 2007...

who could possibly be bitter that he didn't time the market exactly right? WHO times the market exactly right?

> who could possibly be bitter that he didn't time the market exactly right?

Not sure of the pschological component, but given the shift of the bulls on the board into insult-only mode, its certainly a HELL of a lot of them. You can try to figure out how/why all you want, I'm just pointing out that they exist in spades even just on the last few threads.

didn't you just call someone a putz? Who is insulting whom?

Guys, way too many insults all around. Have you considered having a discussion about real estate?

"Not bitter than you bought them (2001 was a good time), bitter than you didn't sell them when you had the chance in 2007..."

Yep, right again. The carrying costs are under 5k/month, but I should have sold at the peak (paying 6% broker fee and taxes on the profits). Then I should have gone across the street and rented virtually the same unit for 7,500/month. I would have kept renting for years, trying to time the market and spending hundreds of thousands of after-tax dollars on rent. Then I would buy again, after spending months doing research and looking at places, and after incuring tens of thousands in closing costs. Not to mention that I would have had to leave an aparetment which I absolutely love.

Would have made a lot of sense. The more I think about it, the more bitter I get.

BGarcia, you may have also had to pay capital gains taxes if you didn't roll over your gain into a new property.

Turning a gain into a loss to "save" capital gains taxes makes as much sense as asking for a lower salary from your boss to save on income taxes...

Not to mention the available tax deduction....

> Yep, right again. The carrying costs are under 5k/month, but I should have sold at the peak (paying

Did your gain suddenly disappear? Hell, if anyone made such a fantastic investment as you describe, you could have rolled the profit into a CD and lived off of that.

In the end, you seem to be confusing short term cash flow with profit....

I've learned pretty quickly in the past hour on Streeteasy that there is no having a normal discussion or conversation with poster EddieWilson.

Goodnight

"you could have rolled the profit into a CD and lived off of that."

OK, show of hands... Who else agrees that this HAS to be the quote of the day?

"In the end, you seem to be confusing short term cash flow with profit...."

Trust me, I am anything but confused about my situation.

> Trust me, I am anything but confused about my situation.

All evidence to the contrary.... you "calculated" your situation looking at cash flow but not changes in asset value.

> OK, show of hands... Who else agrees that this HAS to be the quote of the day?

If it was as big as you infer, even a 3% return would have covered your cash flow gap "problem". That wasn't investment advice, genius.

> All evidence to the contrary.... you "calculated" your situation looking at cash flow but not

Actually, let me simplify that for you so you can understand... thats like a guy who sells his new hyundai for $20, and then says he came out ahead because his bus fare was only $11 this week...

real estate and cars are different asset classes, no? Maybe you aren't stevejhx, I do recall that he did understand (and quite proudly, good for him!!) that property isn't depreciated.

"Actually, let me simplify that for you so you can understand... thats like a guy who sells his new hyundai for $20, and then says he came out ahead because his bus fare was only $11 this week..."

I thought I already had my quote of the day, but now I am confused... It's too close to call which quote is funnier/sadder/crazier...

BGaria - I am 100% with you (see my post on similar topic on one of the other strings, Trump, I think). Substantial transaction costs as well as huge hassles (essentially indirect transaction costs), make trading in and out of real estate every time you think there is a peak or a trough quite impractical. And if you're living in a place you like and can afford, why bother to begin with?

Great post BGaria. Eddie Wilson gets more and more exposed for his lack of knowledge (and social skills) the more everyone presents him with reasonable logic and common sense. He makes very clear his internal frustration, and denial thereof, at being a renter all these years.
