Ahhh - leave it to the brokers to find the silver lining...

"If you think you were going to make a big profit, it's going to be a disappointment," she said, adding that sellers often make up for the loss by getting better deals on their new homes. "If you're going to buy something on the other end, you can do well," she said.

Gotta love the brokers: "Don't worry about losing your shirt when you sell, you will save a ton of money on yoru next house." PLEASE!

Ah... the bear market in Manhattan real estate. Can we take this article as the first steps towards confirmation? Where are the bulls to refute it? Can I finally afford my convertible three bedroom apartment on only a million a year income? Let us hope!
