lol, this is stupid and shows exactly why people should sell their apartments instead of renting them out.

Yes - I saw it some time ago too - sounds like some baggage.

newyo: what exactly did you mean by "fussy"? It seems quite a bit if you are being very paticuar about your method of delivery for the notice. It leave us curious?

It sounds like "fussy" is not meant in a complimentary way Julia.

Why waste money on an attorney for something so simple? What non-retained attorney would take on this assignment anyway?

Has the lease expired or it is expiring? There is no need to send a letter to "terminate" a lease that is going to expire. It terminates by its own terms on the expiration date. If you want to simply remind them that it is going to expire and that you are not renewing, you can do so, but make sure you serve it in accordance with the notice provision of the lease. Of course, it is always best to have an attorney draft or at least review any lease notices.

you're terminating their lease because they are a "fussy" couple. You should be sending them a thank you note for renting your condo!

I want to send a letter to my tenants to terminate the expiring lease.
They are a fussy couple.
Should I send it myself via certify mail or should I get an attorney to send the letter?
Give me some ideas pls.!
